Wassail! The ancient tradition is being revived in Keston, on Saturday, January 5th. It is a ceremony for the apple tree, and cider is involved. Lots of quaffing of ale and singing too! Place.. The Fox, Heathfield Road, Keston,Kent. Time ,8 pm

Bob Kenward has pointed out that the Woodshed sesions in The Wrotham Arms during the Broadstairs festival won't start until later, as Jen has bands booked in at lunchtimes. I'll keep you posted.

2007- 2008 our 20th year!

The grey hairs prove it guys - Friday Folk has been folking around for twenty years. The guests are now falling over themselves to get booked, and the book is full. I just hope that the audiences for them will be good.

I've invited Keith Kendrick back as the last time he came down was his  anniversary year. John Ward has a new CD out and would like to come down again. Dates to be finalised. I have to re-arrange the booking for Lynne Heraud and Pat Turner as they have double booked themselves. We shall also be arranging a date for Roger Sutcliffe who has impressed us greatly on his visits as a floor singer to the club. I also hope to get Norcsalordie . Keep watching this space and the Guests 2008 page!
